This policy describes how Easy Rug Wash handles personal information through this website and its rug washing booking and contact forms.
Information we collect
When you request a booking, we collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup address, rug dimensions, requested pickup date, quoted price, and pickup preparation confirmation. The contact form collects your name, email address, subject, and message.
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request times, and security logs. The contact form uses a short-lived submission limit and a hidden spam-detection field to reduce abuse. We use a browser identifier cookie for visit counting; it lasts up to one year.
Information submitted before payment
When you click “Continue to secure payment,” your submitted booking details are emailed to our team as an unpaid inquiry before Stripe checkout opens. We receive those details even if you do not complete payment. We may use them to respond to your inquiry or discuss your requested service. A separate notification is sent to our team when payment is completed.
How we use information
We use information to respond to questions, provide quotes, arrange pickup and delivery, process and confirm bookings, communicate about your service, address concerns, prevent abuse, and maintain records needed for our business or legal obligations.
Service-area ZIP checks
If you use the service-area checker, we check the ZIP code you enter against location data stored on our server. The lookup does not send your ZIP code to an external geocoding service, save it, or create a booking.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes payment details on its hosted checkout. We receive payment status, amounts, and transaction identifiers; our website does not receive your full payment card number. Booking and contact messages are transmitted using Resend and received in our business email inbox. Oracle hosts the website, and Cloudflare provides DNS, traffic routing, and security services. These providers process information in connection with delivering their services, under their own policies and applicable agreements.
We may share the details necessary to carry out pickup, washing, and delivery with people helping fulfill your service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security issues, or legal claims.
Embedded content and external resources
The site hosts its rug imagery, process video and fonts locally. Stripe and Cloudflare may use technologies needed for payments and security. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking some technologies may affect features.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources such as Facebook and Google Search, pages viewed, and actions such as starting a booking or successfully submitting an inquiry. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes technical information about your browser, device, and visit. We do not send booking or contact form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, pickup addresses, or payment session IDs to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our website tag.
We also use an OpenAI measurement pixel to measure visits and paid orders associated with our advertising. The website saves the latest identifiable arrival source for up to 30 days in browser local storage. This may include a source such as Google, ChatGPT, or Facebook, a referring domain, campaign labels, and the landing page for that visit. When you submit a booking, we include those source details with the booking information sent to our team and Stripe. If the browser does not provide a source, we label it “Direct or unknown.”

We use Google Ads conversion measurement to connect advertising to paid bookings. Google may use measurement cookies and ad-click identifiers. For eligible visits from Google ads, a Google forwarding number may replace the phone number shown on the site and route calls to our usual booking number. To measure a paid phone booking, we share the original caller number, call time, payment time, currency and paid amount with Google Ads. Website purchase measurement uses an order number, currency and amount; we do not send pickup addresses, payment card details or call transcripts to Google Ads.
Meta advertising measurement
We use the Meta Pixel to measure page visits, successfully submitted inquiries, checkout starts, and confirmed website purchases, and to improve delivery of our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta may receive browser and device information, IP address, page URL, advertising identifiers and cookies, and purchase amount and currency. We send an order-based event identifier to avoid counting the same purchase twice. We do not include contact or booking form contents, payment card details, or Stripe payment session IDs in our Meta events, and automatic event detection and advanced matching are not enabled by our code. We do not load this pixel when your browser signals Global Privacy Control. Microsoft Clarity session recordings
We use Microsoft Clarity on our homepage and /pricev3 and /pricev4 booking pages to understand how visitors navigate, scroll, click, and move through the booking process, and to investigate errors and abandoned bookings. Clarity processes browser and device information, page URLs, interaction data, and cookies to provide session replays and heatmaps. We explicitly mask the pickup-details form, booking status messages, payment panel, and order confirmation; we do not send form values or customer identifiers in our custom Clarity events. Payment fields remain handled by Stripe. Clarity is not loaded when your browser signals Global Privacy Control or the arrival URL contains payment-session parameters. Retention and security
Booking details may remain in our email inbox, securely stored booking records, and payment records after your visit. We retain information for handling inquiries, completing services, resolving issues, and meeting recordkeeping obligations. Retention varies with the type of record and applicable requirements. We use HTTPS and keep website API credentials on the server, but no online system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You can ask about information associated with you, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop following up on an inquiry through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity. We will handle requests under applicable law; some information may need to be retained for transactions, legal obligations, or resolving disputes. Please do not submit sensitive identification documents through the form.
