Measure before comparing quotes
Measure width and length in feet, excluding fringe. Convert inches into a fraction of a foot: 3 inches is 0.25 ft, 6 inches is 0.5 ft and 9 inches is 0.75 ft. A 5 ft 6 in × 8 ft rug is 44 sq. ft.: $286 cleaning with FREE pickup and return, or $336 with furniture service.
Our calculator quotes one rectangular rug at a time. An irregular shape, a group of rugs, delicate materials, damage or a specific stain or odor concern needs clarification before booking. Do not assume the calculator covers extra treatment or multiple rugs within one transport fee. See our cleaning services for custom care.
What the transport charge covers
See your total before booking. FREE Pickup & Delivery on $250+ Orders. Orders with a cleaning subtotal under $250 have a $50 total pickup and return fee. Furniture Removal & Replacement is an optional +$50 flat fee. The $250 threshold uses the cleaning subtotal before furniture service or any other fees. Furniture Removal & Replacement means we move the necessary furniture, remove your rug, and put the rug back in place when returned. For a 4 × 6 rug, cleaning is $156: the total is $206 standard or $256 with furniture service. For a 5 × 8 rug, the total is $260 standard or $310 with furniture service.
Compare the complete service
When asking another cleaner for a quote, give the same dimensions and ask whether the amount covers collection, washing, return and any proposed extras. A room-based carpet-cleaning quote is not automatically a quote for washing a removable area rug.
Also ask about the proposed treatment for your rug’s material, any existing damage and your particular cleaning concerns. Price alone does not tell you whether two quotes cover the same work.
