For a condo or managed building, check whether rug removal needs a service entrance, reserved elevator or vendor notice. For a house, share the best entrance and any steps or gate instructions. These access notes help us plan the handoff and return delivery without relying on a broad county label.
Calculate a standard rug wash
A 3 × 5 ft rug is 15 square feet, so washing at $6 per square foot is $90. Rolled-and-ready pickup and delivery add $50 per booking. If you need help moving furniture off the rug, choose the $100 pickup-and-delivery option instead. The calculator shows your total before checkout. Measure the rug itself and leave fringe out of the dimensions.
Care beyond the standard calculator
Tell us if your rug is handmade, silk, antique, irregularly shaped or affected by an old stain or pet odor. A photo of the front and back helps us review the construction and possible treatment. Specialty care may need a custom quote before payment. Portable area rugs are cleaned off-site and generally returned in 7–10 business days from pickup after availability is confirmed.
