Plan a Long Island rug collection
In Nassau County, a rug may be in a house, a condo or an apartment building. For a house, choose a dry place near the agreed entrance where a rolled rug can be collected without blocking a walkway. For a condo, ask about vendor access and elevator rules. Tell us if there are steps, a long driveway, a gate or another detail affecting the handoff.
Our pickup area includes eligible Nassau addresses, but countywide service on every date is not guaranteed. We review the precise address and route before confirming the requested collection date. Do not assume that selecting New York in checkout confirms eligibility for a distant location.
Price your area rug
A standard 8 × 10 ft rug is 80 square feet. At $6 per square foot, the washing portion is $480. Pickup and return are $50 per booking for a rug you have rolled and made ready, or $100 per booking when you need furniture-removal help. The calculator lets you see the total before you pay. Oversized, irregular or delicate rugs may need a custom quote.
What happens after collection?
Your portable area rug is taken for off-site cleaning and returned after washing. We generally expect 7–10 business days from pickup, but timing can change with rug condition or route availability. Share the fiber label, any prior cleaning, visible damage and any pet-related spots before pickup. The most suitable treatment may differ from a standard wash.
