Nassau and Suffolk, one booking process

Long Island pickups cover both counties. In Nassau, that includes North Shore towns like Great Neck, Manhasset and Port Washington, South Shore communities from Long Beach to Massapequa, and central towns such as Garden City, Hicksville and Levittown. In Suffolk, it includes Huntington, Smithtown, Babylon, Islip, Brookhaven and the communities around them. Nassau addresses have their own page: rug cleaning in Nassau County.

We confirm every address and route before we lock in a date. The further east you are, the more the available pickup days depend on our route, so request a date and we will tell you if a different day works better. Far East End addresses are checked individually.

Getting a rug out of a Long Island house

Most Long Island pickups are from houses, not apartment buildings, so the handoff is usually simple. Roll the rug with the top side facing in, and leave it somewhere dry near the entrance you agreed on, such as a front hall, garage or covered porch. Please don't leave it on a driveway or lawn, where dew or a sprinkler can soak it. Tell us about anything that affects the handoff: a gated community, a long private road, steps down to a basement den, or a rug still under a sectional.

If furniture is sitting on the rug, add Furniture Removal & Replacement for a $50 flat fee. We move the pieces off the rug at pickup and put them back when we return it.

What it costs, in totals

Enter your rug's width and length on the price calculator for an instant total. Some examples for standard rectangular rugs:

  • 8 × 10 ft living room rug: $520 total, with FREE pickup and return.
  • 5 × 8 ft bedroom rug: $260 total, with FREE pickup and return.
  • 4 × 6 ft entry rug: $206 total, which includes $50 for pickup and return because the cleaning is under $250.

Pickup and return are FREE on cleaning orders of $250 or more. Below that, there is a $50 pickup and return fee. Furniture service is an optional $50. Oversized, round, irregular or delicate rugs may need a custom quote. See the full pricing guide for more sizes.

Rugs we see often on Long Island

Beach houses and South Shore homes bring in sand that works down to the base of the rug, and vacuuming alone rarely gets it all out. A full wash rinses the grit out of the pile. Timing

We generally expect 7–10 business days from pickup to return. Timing can change with the rug's condition or route availability. If you need the rug back for a holiday or a house closing, mention the date when you book.
