Planning a Queens pickup
Queens has everything from walk-up apartments in Astoria to larger homes in eastern neighborhoods. Before requesting pickup, measure the rug edge to edge and decide whether you can roll it yourself. For a walk-up, tell us the floor and whether another person will be available to help carry the rug. For a building with a service entrance, ask management whether rug removal must use that entrance or a reserved elevator.
Astoria, Long Island City, Forest Hills and Flushing have different loading conditions, so an online date is a request until we confirm the exact address and stopping point. Do not leave a rug outside or in a shared lobby without an agreed handoff.
Pricing a Queens rug wash
A standard rectangular area rug is $6 per square foot. A 5 × 8 ft rug has 40 square feet, so washing is $240. Rolled-and-ready pickup and return adds $50 per booking; help moving furniture off the rug makes that transport option $100. The online calculator shows the total before checkout. Fringe is not included in the measurement.
What to tell us before pickup
Point out pet accidents, existing color bleeding, loose fringe or a backing that is separating. Those details may change the cleaning method or require a custom quote. Photograph both sides if you are unsure what the rug is made from. We arrange off-site washing and normally return rugs within 7–10 business days from pickup, subject to the rug's condition and confirmed schedule.
