Arrange a Staten Island handoff
For Staten Island pickup, tell us whether the rug is in a house, a walk-up or a managed building. A rolled rug should be available at the agreed entrance; if you choose furniture-removal help, tell us what furniture is on it. In a shared building, ask whether management restricts elevator use or vendor access.
The exact address and collection date need route confirmation. The online booking date is a request, and we will review access before it becomes an appointment. Let us know if you have a gate code, a long carry to the entrance or a limited handoff window. Do not put the rug at the curb before a collection is agreed.

A 5 × 7 ft area rug has 35 square feet. Washing at $6 per square foot is $210. Pickup and delivery add $50 per booking when the rug is rolled and ready, bringing that example to $260. The furniture-removal pickup and delivery option costs $100 per booking instead. Measurements exclude fringe; irregular shapes should be discussed before payment.
Prepare for off-site cleaning
We collect portable area rugs for cleaning away from the home. Installed carpeting, sofas and curtains are not part of this service. Point out spills, pet accidents, weakened edges or backing concerns and share a photo if possible. Those details help us check whether a standard wash is appropriate. The usual return estimate is 7–10 business days from pickup after a date is confirmed.
